Where Are The Looney Tunes?
No, really. I haven’t seen a Looney Tune cartoon in years. Do they even come on TV anymore?

Yes, I know the movie has been out since the Spring. I only just got around to watching it myself, and I needed to break NuMutant’s months-long hiatus. So here is my review for DC’s animated Wonder Woman movie! Keep reading…

After an amusing battle of egos between Hank Pym and Reed Richards, Hank now has everything he needs to transport the Avengers to their new pocket dimension base. Jocasta has fully integrated into the new base’s computer systems, and the team is both eager and cautious at what their new home could possibly be. However, we must first go back to the history of the modern day Inhumans to uncover a dirty little secret no one has mentioned in years, and how it could shake the planet to its core.

Back in March, IDW announced an ongoing Doctor Who comic series, after the success of Doctor Who: The Forgotten. Part of the big announcement was that the first issue will team the Doctor up with classic star of silent films Charlie Chaplin. They even released early cover art featuring a man who is clearly Chaplin. Unfortunately, as noted by writer Tony Lee, Chaplin’s estate wouldn’t allow IDW to use his name or likeness at the last minute. The result is a few last minute edits to the artwork and lettering, as Charlie Chaplin and his signature tiny mustache have been transformed into Archie Maplin with a comically large mustache.

It’s time for another issue of Booster Gold, the greatest hero you’ve never heard of! After the perplexing cliffhanger at the end of #21, Booster Gold must journey back in time to protect Dick Grayson during his days as Robin, so that he may one day live to succeed Bruce Wayne as Batman. Once again, this issue features a backup story starring the Blue Beetle, my review of which can be found near the bottom of this article.

As you may have noticed, I’ve given NuMutant a bit of a redesign. It’s a little less gawdy, and I kinda like it. If you’re using an 800×600 screen resolution, then I want to apologize for making you side-scroll. I wouldn’t worry about missing anything on the far right of this page, though; it’s all external links. Beyond the surface, I’m planning to expand the overall content of the site. From now on, I’m going to include live action television and (to a much lesser extent) movies. So look forward to that in the future.
With all that said, I’d like to remind you all to subscribe for all future updates.

Publisher: Marvel
X-Men First Class was a comic that took place during the days of the original five X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast, and Angel), the first class of students Professor Xavier ever made into X-Men. It was a fun series that updated the early days of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, highlighted the characters as they were in their teens, and told single-issue stories that often called back to the Silver Age of comics. Uncanny X-Men First Class is set to be a continuation of that series, set in the early days of the “All New, All Different X-Men” of the 1970’s. Continue Reading…
